Hey guys! I’ve been on this platform for a while, and I wanted to share my first podcast experience with Anamae! She’s a wonderful host. The interview was short because I had to rush out for an event🥴

Here’s the link to my episode if you’re interested: podcastswitanamae.com.

Okay, here’s how it started. Anamae stumbles on my brand’s Twitter while she was laughing at some memes. She loved my designs (I still can’t believe it,) and she decided to contact me. She asked if I wanted to be on her podcast, and I said yes! I’m not going to throw away that opportunity!

A couple of questions came to mind while I was tweaking my Twitter profile again. I felt so inspired because of all I’ve learned to do this year. I glowed up physically, mentally, and professionally.

Do you know how that feels? If I were a bird with no wings, it would have felt like I'd grown a new, strong, and majestic pair of wings.

My own story inspires me every day. I can’t help but remind myself of how I overcame past struggles. Here’s how you can, too.

Follow my interview with Anamae. Don’t be shy, let’s bask in our individual growth together.

Hi there! I’m Anamae, your esteemed interviewer. It’s an honor to be here with you. Now, you’ll start off with our first question: How has 2020 been for you?

It’s been one darn rollercoaster for me.

Hmm…a rollercoaster. Was it very steep, or was it like those kiddy rides?

It felt like both, but the kiddy rides were only there to prepare you for the steep parts. This year…It’s not been fair very often, but I’ve made things work for me.

Have you learned anything new this year?

Oh, yes. I learned to be strong in times of trouble.

That’s nice, but can you give some more detail?. What do you mean by strong?

I mean, I’m telling my own story. I’m making my own path. I realized that there’s a lot of power in my hands to change my life. It all started when I decided to put my skills out there.

That sounds rough. How did it go?

I felt like an idiot. I was like, who’s gonna see my stuff? I had zero social presence at first. No Twitter, Instagram, TikTok-nothing! I realized how hard it would be to get my first 10 followers.

Whoa, that sounds tough! I’ve noticed you have a good following now.

I sure do! I’ve been a bit slow with it, though. Its been a lot of trial and error with both managing my account and creating new content. I learned a lot from being practical. Experience is a great teacher!

What kind of things did you learn?

Time management. I was so terrible at doing things — people procrastinate, but I took mine to another level. I couldn’t stop doing projects a couple of hours before they were due! I hated doing that, and I decided to stop. Now I’m always timely with my projects. I beat deadlines a lot of the time.

That sounds great! Anything else?

Yeah! I ramped up my content creating skills. I’m a fashion designer and artist, and I wanted to create content that people love and want to wear! I decided to create a hashtag for my designs, and after some time, I created my brand!

Whoa, so inspirational! What do you have to say to our audience here?

Do what you like, but make it profitable. Then you can do what you absolutely love. Also, be patient with your results. You might not know what’s coming next! Stay safe!

Thanks for being here with us, ‘You.’ We hope to see you again!

Thanks, Anamae. Bye!

That’s it, guys! Stay tuned for the next episode on podcastswitanamae.com.
